This is a part-time position that could become full-time if the right candidate is found. Pay is based on relevant experiences. Must be able to work weekends.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: Have knowledge of all items in the rental department including the running and operating of such items; Maintain appearance and cleanliness of rental showroom; Assist customers in the showroom; answer questions and make suggestions; Perform all basic POS responsibilities: Opening, closing and modifying rental contracts, checking rental email; Compile and prep upcoming rentals in a timely manner; Coordinate deliveries with power equipment and hardware managers and effectively communicates all delivery instructions to driver(s); Ensure proper maintenance and repairs of all rental equipment and vehicles; Can open & close the rental department as needed; Perform other job duties as needed.
Qualifications (knowledge, skills, abilities): The ability to lift heavy items repeatedly (75-100 lbs); Ability to follow all safety practices; Excellent verbal communication and the ability to convey information clearly and effectively; Great interpersonal and customer service skills; Quick decision-making and problem-solving abilities; Excellent time management; Responsible, goal-orientated and organized; Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask; Confident, proactive and willing to take on challenges; Great listening skills and able to take direction from individuals in higher-level positions; Able to effectively manage and motivate others; Team player; Flexibility with hours of availability due to the demands of the retail environment.
